Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to learn about Garden Frontline. This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, which is also the basis of the Israeli standard IS 5568 referenced by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.
What we have done
- The whole page can be used with a keyboard. Links and buttons show a visible focus outline, and there is a "skip to content" link.
- Images that carry information have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text meets the WCAG AA contrast ratios, and the page works when zoomed to 200%.
- Headings and landmarks give the page a clear structure for screen readers.
- Visitors who turn on "reduce motion" on their device get no automatic animation: the demo waits for a Start button and the gameplay video does not play on its own.
- The page works on phones, tablets and computers, in portrait and landscape.
- No content flashes more than three times per second.
- The site was tested with the axe-core automated checker against the WCAG 2.1 AA rules, with no violations found.
Known limitations
- The playable demo is a visual mini-game drawn on a canvas. Its controls (choosing a unit and a position) are real buttons that work with a keyboard and screen readers, and the game announces waves and the result, but the battle itself is visual.
- The short gameplay video has no sound and no dialogue; it shows the same battle described in the text around it.
The website is in English; this statement and the legal documents are also available in Hebrew.
The game itself is a separate Android app and is not covered by this statement.
